This weekend Jerry and I headed south to catch the peak color on the Highway of Legends- CO State Route 12 that connects La Veta and Trinidad. It was a fantastic show from mother nature. I've never seen so much orange in aspens mixed with the more typical gold. Words can't do justice, but a picture shows a thousand words...
